About New England Sleep Lab
We provide evaluation and treatment for a range of sleep disorders in a private, comfortable setting.
Treatment for sleep disorders
Our sleep lab differs from other sleep centers because we test for more than just breathing disorders. Sleep disorders may range from insomnia and parasomnias — such as sleepwalking and night terrors — to sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome or narcolepsy.
Sleep studies
A sleep study is often prescribed to determine your specific sleeping disorder. This observational time enables the physician to diagnose the problem, its underlying causes and offer treatment options that will work for you.
Our sleep studies are conducted in a hotel setting in Manchester, which offers an indoor pool, jacuzzi, workout room, restaurant and business center. Each of our six spacious rooms has:
- Comfortable beds
- Flat screen HD TV
- High-speed internet
- Microwave and refrigerator
- Private bathroom
Sleep disorder treatments
You are welcome to bring a few personal items to help you feel at ease during your sleep study.
Whenever possible, we prioritize nonsurgical treatment options, including:
- Bi-level airway pressure
- Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy
- Home sleep studies
- Medication therapy
- Referral for oral specialties
- Sleep hygiene education
Should your condition require surgical intervention, we can provide a referral. We also coordinate care with home care agencies to ensure you receive proper therapeutic equipment to treat your sleep disorder.
Our sleep team
Our lab conducts sleep studies administered by highly trained technologists at our facility. The data gathered from the sleep studies is interpreted by our board-certified sleep medicine physicians. We take this information and develop a personalized treatment plan in collaboration with you.
Our care team operates under the medical direction of a certified sleep specialist physician. Our care team includes neurologists, pulmonologists, respiratory therapists and sleep technologists. Together, with advanced computer-based technology, our team diagnoses and treats complex sleep disorders. We use noninvasive, state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to determine the source of your sleep disturbance.
Insurance coverage and referrals
Sleep studies and consultations are usually covered by insurance, and we accept most major insurances. Please contact your insurance provider for precertification and referral requirements.
